My story began over 25 years ago, in the warm, earthy glow of my dad’s workshop. It was a place where leather aprons hung on walls, the scent of freshly cut wood lingered in the air, and stories flowed as freely as the coffee in their mugs. Dad and his buddies would sit for hours, swapping tales and whittling sticks, turning simple moments into timeless memories.

Since my father passed, those memories have become treasures I carry with me—reminders of a simpler time, free from the hum of social media and the buzz of cell phones. There’s something truly grounding about sitting down with Papa Chuck’s pocketknife in hand, letting the grain of the wood guide you as you carve. It’s a connection to the past, to craftsmanship, and to the love of family that lives on in every stick I make.

At C.K. Walking Sticks, we don’t craft "drugstore" canes. Every walking stick is a unique piece, handmade with the care, knowledge, and passion that my father passed down to me. Each stick is designed to not only be a dependable companion for the trails but also a conversation piece—a piece of art that’s meant to be cherished and handed down through generations.
